David Fluharty

General Manager

David Fluharty is the General Manager of Marbled & Fin’s Charleston, where he oversees the
restaurant’s operations and empowers the staff to deliver excellent hospitality. While growing up
on the coast in Rehoboth Beach, DE, Fluharty became interested in the world of restaurants
after working summers in the resort beach town. He found inspiration from the late Matt Haley, a
James Beard Humanitarian Award winner, and began working at Haley’s flagship restaurant,
Bluecoast, in 2012 where Fluharty was able to refine his skills and gain experience in the
industry. After working for several other restaurants for SoDel Concepts, Fluharty moved to
Charleston, SC, and joined The Neighborhood Dining Group at McCrady’s Tavern in 2018.
Fluharty continued his journey with his NDG family, moving on to showcase his passion for
unique bar programming as a bartender at Delaney Oyster House during its 2019 opening. He
later moved into an Assistant General Manager role at Delaney for several years before moving
down the peninsula to join the Husk team, where he was promoted to General Manager in 2024.

With deep leadership experience and an affinity for luxury hospitality, David Fluharty joined the
Marbled & Fin team in 2026, where he helps create a celebratory atmosphere that breaks the
mold of traditional steakhouse dining alongside what he considers a team of true professionals.
Fluharty bases his leadership style on accountability, respect, and integrity, always striving to
create a positive environment to nurture the talent on his team. As a leader, Fluharty guides
staff to work towards one common goal of delivering the best service possible and understands
the importance of taking a hands-on approach while staying present.

While he’s not at the restaurant, you can find him rooting for his alma mater, University of
Tennessee, and Philadelphia sports teams, alongside his wife, Jenny, and bluetick coonhound,
Django.
